League Match Results (Oct 15 & 16)

U8 Bremer (0-3 loss)

The young U8 Bremer team played their first league match and showed great sportsmanship. Even with only five players- two of whom are just six years old, the team fought hard and never gave up. Good game, Forza Juve!

U10 Paredes (4-1 win)

A great first official match from the U10 Paredes team, Juventus won 4-1 against their opponents. Juve started strong, created many clear chances, and defended well but the first half ended without any goals from either side.

The team returned to the pitch for the second half and made an impact immediately. Juve scored two goals quickly in succession and continued to pressure. After another great team play, the Bianconeri scored another and led by three goals. Though the opponents were able to bring back one goal, Juve attacked once again at the end of the match and made it four.

Amazing teamwork and commitment shown from all the players, great job Juve!

U11 & U12 (4-5 loss friendly)

To get ready for the new season, the Juventus U11 and U12 teams gathered together and played a friendly against an opponent. Though Juve lost the match, the team controlled the match and stayed organized tactically. The opponents had an advantage in age and size (opponents were U13), but the Bianconeri showed impressive understanding of the game and great potential.

This was a good challenge for the Juve players to practice their positions against older opponents. The teams remain confident to face their first match this weekend.

U13 Chiesa (1-2 loss)

The U13 Chiesa team started strong and found a lot of chances to attack. After multiple attempts to score, Leon was fouled in front of the goal and wins a penalty for Juve. The opponent goalkeeper was unable to block Jonah’s powerful shot and Juventus lead 1-0. However, before the end of the first half, the opponents were able to equalize.

Juve continued to apply pressure throughout the rest of the match. Unfortunately, the team was not able to convert despite having many close chances to break the tie. Around halfway through the second half, the opponents were able to turn their chance into a goal. Though Juve kept pushing and never gave up, the match ended in a loss for the Bianconeri.

Despite the result, the U13 Chiesa team showed great fight and skill. It is evident that the team has strong potential to contend for the U13 title. Let’s go for the win next time- Forza Juve!

U14 Bonucci (1-4 loss)

The Juventus U14 team did well but finished their match with a loss. Throughout the entire match, Juve put pressure on the opponents and made it difficult for the opponents to launch attacks. Though the team conceded two goals first, Juve was able to score one through Johan’s free-kick before the end of the first half.

The U14 Bonucci boys returned to the pitch as determined as ever, but suffered a decrease in focus and fitness. Despite multiple great chances, the team conceded two more and were unable to find another goal.

In all, the scoreline did not reflect the team’s good performance. Keep pushing, good luck next time!

Juventus U17 (3-3 draw friendly)

The Juventus U17 team played a friendly against a tough local team and finished the match with a draw. The team did very well, controlling the match and pressuring the opponents to stay in their half. Even with many refereeing calls leaning in the opponent’s favor, Juventus stayed calm and enjoyed the game as a good practice match.
