The 2022/23 season has started and it is an exciting one, full of new beginnings and journeys. This season, Juventus is looking forward to competing in the Nü 女 League, Shanghai’s largest international amateur Women’s football league.
The Juventus Women team will be one of 12 teams to take part in this empowering and global competition. It was created by the international community of Shanghai but supported and joined by many local Chinese players, fans, and partners as well. It is a truly international league that embraces all languages and cultures, allowing connections to be built among strong women from all around the world. Centered around building community and friendship, the Nü 女 League gathers all the women in Shanghai who have a passion for football and a desire for sisterhood.
The League also boasts special cooperations with sponsors such as insurance/healthcare providers and restaurant bars, ensuring that participants will enjoy their time both on and off the pitch.
Juventus Academy Shanghai has been building toward this step and is so excited to present our Juventus Women team. These girls and women are so full of potential, youth, and strength, and we can’t wait to see you kill it on the pitch!
And what is better than a community of strong women playing football to wake up a city that has been sleeping for so long? Restaurants, sport products, physio and many other providers have all awakened, ready to give the hundreds of women a perfect experience to recharge on the weekends. Juventus will also be taking part in this League and in Shanghai's business-reopening boom!
