Did you know, Juventus Academy Shanghai is just one of the many Juventus Academies all over the world? The Juventus Academy project was born to bring Juventus' colours, methods and values to as many kids as possible. Juventus, as one of the biggest teams in the world, allows players everywhere to connect with the club in a multiple different ways.

NATIONAL ACADEMY

The National Academy Project exists within the Italian border and is a collaboration between Juventus and 30 amateur football clubs throughout the country. Juventus identifies the best clubs in Italy and provides expert guidance, management, and sporting education to build football centres of excellence.

TRAINING CAMP

The Training Camps, on the other hand, allow players beyond the Italian borders to enjoy the Juventus experience. These 3-5 day camps are specifically designed to enable the youngsters to enjoy some one-off experiences, ensuring they bring a whole host of unique memories back with them.

JUVENTUS ACADEMY SHANGHAI CUP

Other singular events can connect us from abroad to Juventus as well, such as the Juventus Academy Shanghai Cup that we hosted in 2019!

With over 500 participating players and 43 teams, the tournament welcomed teams from all over China (SIPG, Shenhua, Juventus Academy Suzhou, etc…) as well as abroad. We even had the honor to meet Juve legend Fabrizio Ravanelli, who took part in both the opening and closing ceremonies!

YEAR-ROUND TRAINING

Of all of the available Juventus programs, the Year-Round Training is the heart and soul. Juventus Academy Year-Round Training is the annual training program for playing in black and white every season, like Juventus Academy Shanghai. From America to Australia, from Africa to Asia and of course in Europe, there are nearly 100 Juventus Academies in which participants engage daily wearing the colours of the Club. What does this mean? We have Bianconeri family present in international cities around the world and in every single continent except Antarctica. All of the Juventus Academies may operate on their own, but we are all connected… not just by our name. From our philosophy to our uniforms to our Forza Juve cheers, we all hold the black and white spirit wherever we are.

ACADEMY WORLD CUP

This special bond is materialized during the annual Juventus Academy World Cup, the most important event of the project. Juventus Academies from everywhere gather together in Turin, to play against each other in a grand tournament. To date, this tournament has been organized in 2018, 2019, and 2022, and now, let’s get ready for 2023!

In Shanghai, especially since the start of the pandemic, it could be difficult to truly comprehend the grandeur of our club. So let’s go out there and see for ourselves! Let’s fill up the Allianz Stadium along with our fellow Bianconeri players. Let’s meet Juventus legends like Del Piero and Edgar Davids. Let’s appreciate that we, as Juventus Academy Shanghai, are Juventus.

From 2018 to 2022, the Academy World Cup have seen Juventus Academy Tunisia, Torun, Romania, Miami, Sydney, Warsaw, and Chile become winners… It’s time to add Shanghai to the list! Are you ready?
