Edgar Davids was not a player you could confuse for another. His signature goggles, dreadlocks, and stocky build made him stand out on the pitch at all times. Besides his physical features, Davids was superior in work ethic, even prompting Lippi to refer to him as a "one-man engine room". His tackling abilities, aggression, and combative style meshed perfectly with his creativity and dribbling abilities, making him one of the greats to play for Juventus.

During the six seasons and 243 appearances that Davids wore the black and white shirt, he won three Scudetti and two Supercoppas. He also helped the Bianconeri reach the Champions League final twice, but unfortunately missed out on the trophy both times. Davids and French legend Zinedine Zidane were unforgettable in the Juve midfield, the pair creating a duo of ultimate compatibility and skill.

With his relentless energy, resilience, and diligence, Edgar Davids is a unique player. His consistent ability to give his all on the pitch is something that all Juventus Academy Shanghai teams and players should strive for, and for that, Davids is certainly a legend of Juventus.
