Days are getting colder, but the sky finally cleared up this last week. The Bianconeri returned to the pitch last Saturday. Here are the results:
U18 Cup: 1-9 Loss
U16 League: 8-0 Win
U13 Friendly
U11 League: 4-1 Win
U8 League: 8-2 Win
U18

The U18 Juventus boys played in the Quarterfinals for the SIFL Cup this past weekend. Though they lost the game, there was a lot of potential seen in the field. The team performed very well but struggled as a younger team against adults who were stronger and larger physically. The coaches and players were satisfied with the performance from this match, and now have a better understanding of how to improve play in future matches against teams who have a physical advantage. The only goal-scorer this match is Fynn (#99), who has made a habit of scoring at least one every match.
U16

The Bianconeri played a great match, winning against their opponents with a score of 8-0. The team got off to a later start, with no goals for the first 20 minutes despite being the dominating team. At the 22nd minute, Matthew (#18) scores the opening goal and puts the team into momentum. Matthew makes it a brace just a couple of minutes later and the first half ends 2-0. The second half saw 6 more goals- one more from Matthew, a hat-trick from Shaun (#35), one from Frankie (#17), and one from Kevin (#99) in the last minutes to seal the deal. The team completed 172 passes, 10 crosses, 38 tackles, 36 shots-on-target, 4 free-kicks, and 5 corners. All in all, the Bianconeri had a great game. Great performances from the Center-mids Alvaro (#8), Francesco (#4) and Yogo (#7), supported by our solid defense composed of Roshan (#5), Quintin (#39), and Richard (#6). The strikers were also very clinical, allowing for the buildup of teamwork to come to fruition.
U13

The U13 team played a friendly match with their opponent and got some practice in. Jacob (#21), Sky (#27), Toby (#3), and Joshua (#5) were among those on the scoresheet. The team played good football with smooth cooperation among the players and every player had a solid performance. Their last game of the year, the Bianconeri were able to end 2020 on a high note!
U11

Another win for the Bianconeri, the U11s won the game 4-1. With a brace from Jonah (#21) and one goal each from Tilde (#21) and Luscien (#3), the team played a good match. Jonah comes back after a period of absence, and is able to control the match during his time on the field and score. Even though Matthew (#7), Tameem (#7), and Ines (#12)- three important players- missed this match, the team held up and had a fantastic performance. Tilde and Ivan (#28) kept a solid defense. Saisai (#17) missed some chances to score this match, but this surely will become a stronger motivation to find the back of the net in the next match. Jacob (#24) and Chris (#10), being the youngest players of the team, played well as well.
U8
A great performance from the U8 boys as they dominated the match and won against the opponent with a score of 8-2. Louis (#9) was the star of the show, scoring 7 of the 8 goals in this match. Lucca (#8) scored a goal as well. With such good performances and results from the Bianconeri, we move on to 2021 with confidence and pride. Forza Juve!
