Juventus got their 2021/22 Women’s Champions League Group Stage campaign off to the perfect start, with stunning strikes from Arianna Caruso, Lina Hurtig and Valentina Cernoia handing the Bianconere all three points in a 3-0 victory over Servette Chenois.
]Juve dominated throughout most of the match and were awarded a penalty in the 25th minute to open the scoreline. Though Staskova’s shot was saved by the opponent goalkeeper, it didn’t take long for Juve to find the goal. Just around ten minutes later, Caruso scores a well-controlled volley straight into the net from a cross.
Juve Women continued to take control in the second half and Hurtig widens the scoreline in the 65th minute. Five minutes later, super-sub Cernoia smashes in a long-range goal, making it 3-0 for Juve. The scoreline is kept for the remainder of the match, the Bianconere win the three points!
