The Juventus Elite Women’s team continue their streak and won 1-0 against their opponents La Gozadera F.C. Juve now rank first in the league standings after two matches.
Even without key players Olivia and Vicky, and with Jocelyn feeling under the weather, the team felt more determined than ever to face their next challenge.
The opponent was strong, and the girls fought hard throughout the entire match. Both Juve and La Gozadera F.C. found quite a few good chances in the first half, but Jocelyn made three great saves to keep the game level. After a well-deserved rest, the Juve girls started to push harder in the second half. Juve created a few more scoring chances from Karen, Yvonne, Alicia, and Kelly, but it was Linda that scored the goal to break the tie. The team defended the single goal until the very end, and finished the match with a hard-earned win!
Every single player gave their absolute best on the pitch and helped secure the win. The opponent team La Gozadera F.C. appointed Mia as Woman of the Match for this game. Congratulations!
