As we enter the Year of the Ox, many players from both inside and outside of Juventus Academy Shanghai joined us for our CNY camp! Taking this opportunity to practice football during the break, the players were trained in physical, technical, and tactical aspects of the game as well as practice matches to gain more experience.
As usual, it was a fun yet rigorous camp, with a very specific training plan for both the basic and advanced levels. On Day 1, the focus was on coordination and speed, coupled with technical training for better dribbling and ball control. The players continued training for speed but also agility on day 2, as well as accurate passing and quick receiving. For the older and more advanced players, acceleration was the key point in the physical training. Emphasis was also put on receiving the ball and turning quickly to change direction.
In the technical aspect, days 3 and 4 combined and reviewed the practiced skills of the first two days. Perception, awareness, speed, and balance were the physical focus of the last two days of the camp. Furthermore, the advanced group trained in playing from the back as well as finishing inside the box.
We are happy to see players dedicate time and energy to practicing football even during the break and are looking forward to seeing even more players next time!
