The Juventus Elite Girls recovered immediately from last round’s loss and defeated their opponents comfortably 7-2. The girls now place third on the league table and with only three points to the top, Juve are confident and determined to keep fighting for the title.
The game got to a slow start as the Juve girls settled in on the pitch. Despite controlling the match and having many chances, Juventus were only able to score two goals. The first half finished 2-1.
After a motivational half-time talk and tactical change, the girls became more confident on the pitch and began to unleash their full potential. With goals from Alicia, Karen, Olivia, Niuniu (2), and Linda, Juve scored one after another and won the match by a large margin.
Not only is this win important in terms of the league table points, it also showcased the Juventus Elite Girls team’s continuous improvement and hard work. More and more, the girls are demonstrating that they are a strong team that is willing to fight and be competitive.
