Cristiano Ronaldo wins Player of the Century Award!

Yesterday in Dubai during the Global Soccer Awards ceremony, Cristiano Ronaldo was named the Player of the Century 2001-2020. Defeating his fellow nominees Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, and Mohamed Salah, the decision was made by a 23-person jury.

To congratulate this achievement, Ronaldo was shown a video that features Juventus Academy players from all around the world- including our U11s! "It's great to see the kids around the world doing what I do when I score goals. I'm so proud and so honored," responds Cristiano after seeing the video.

Other winners of the Awards include- Hansi Flick for Coach of the Year, Iker Casillas and Gerard Piqué for the Player Career Award, Robert Lewandowski for Player of the Year, Pep Guardiola for Coach of the Century, Real Madrid for Club of the Century, and Bayern Munich for Club of the Year.

Besides winning various prestigious awards this year, CR7 has set many personal records with the Bianconeri as well. Congratulations Cristiano!

July 20th- scored goal number 50 in Serie A and became the first player in history to score at least 50 goals in Serie A, La Liga, and Premier League.

December 2nd- scored his 750th goal for a club and senior national team.

December 13th- played his 100th appearance with Juventus across all competitions.
