The U7 had a good performance against a physically stronger opponent but ended up with a 1-4 loss. The team did well to fight and remained just one goal behind for most of the match, but the hot weather did not help with the players’ stamina. Edoardo, despite being the youngest on the pitch, had no hesitation to play against older players. Luffie, Lucas, and William were great in defensive situations, taking on the opponent’s attacks. Ricky and Livia were important in the match as well to keep the team going. Gray was the goal-scorer of the match and the crucial player of this match as the goalkeeper and outfield as well.

U13 RONALDO

The U13 Ronaldo boys also did well to continue their contention for the top spot in the league, winning both of their matches. The first was a 6-0 win. The team started off a bit disorganized, but it didn’t take long for them to find a goal through Adam’s beautiful shot off the bar past the goal-line. All of the goals came from a different scorer- Toby, Joshua, Yogo, Keke, and Jacob in that order. The first half ended 4-0 and the coach emphasized to the players the importance of playing smart and conserving energy. This worked as the team won their second match 2-0. This match was a bit tougher as the opponent was quite steady, but Sky’s goal set the Bianconeri forward. Later in the match, Jacob sealed the deal and Juve get six points in the bag!
