U7

Early Sunday morning, our young Bianconeri fought hard under heavy rain to win 5-1 against their opponents. The first goal came from our youngest player Edoardo, putting the team in the lead. Though the opponents were able to level soon after, Gray’s four goals fired Juve past the opponents and helped the U7 grab an easy win. Ricky also came close to scoring a penalty but was a bit unlucky. Oscar did a good job in goal for the last third of the match, stopping any goals from the opponent. William and Livia were also effective in creating some attacking chances for the team to give pressure. We even got some great support from Edoardo’s brother Francesco! In all, the team did great and showed amazing spirit to play even in tough weather conditions, Forza Juve!

U8

The U8 was unlucky to end up with a loss, but the players did well to fight hard. The first half was 4-5 with Juve one goal behind. Though the team was able to level in the second half, the opponent was able to score more and the final score was 7-9. McQueen scored a hat-trick, including a smart goal directly from the halfway line after Juve conceded. Lucca scored two, while Francesco and Rafael got one goal each. Mike was a good goalie, and Adam was a good defender for the team. Edoardo and Gray were also very helpful to the team, giving their help despite being younger.

U9

The U9 played one game each on Saturday and Sunday, with one loss and one win. The first match was tough, as Juve took the lead but were eventually overtaken as the team’s stamina went down in the second half. We saw some great goals, a strong brace from Raymond and a stunner from Louis. As Coach Radfan always says, we either win or we learn. This time, we observed good teamwork from the opponent and will surely work hard to improve ourselves as well. The second match on Sunday was much smoother, with an 8-0 win. However, the team took a while to find their rhythm, as the first half ended goallessly. The second half was a goal-fest, with Louis scoring four, Raymond with a hat-trick, and Tuur getting a goal in as well. In all, the team worked well together and controlled the match. All the other players- Albert, Enzo, Edison, as well as helpers Leon and Luscien were in their top form and worked hard together to get a good result. Great match, good job boys!

U11

The U11 team also had a similar match, where the team organized much better in the second half and widened the scoreline to 7-2. The opponent took the lead first with a penalty, but the first half ended level for both sides after a goal each from Tilde and Jonah. Juve made no mistake in the second half, scoring five more without conceding another. We saw amazing goals from Raymond, Leon, Edoardo, and Jonah- who notably scored a beautiful header as the last goal of the match. In all, a great performance from the U11 team, who looks to be stronger and stronger as time goes by.

U12

The U12 did well, conceding only in the final minutes of the match and holding on to a 2-1 win. Alan opened the scoreline early in the 7th minute, giving Juve the lead. Despite the Bianconeri being the better team on the pitch, we only widened the scoreline later in the 29th minute with a goal from Jonah. In all, the players did well. Ryan was a confident goalkeeper, making many important runs out of the box to pressure the opponent. Karen and Mizuna were reliable defenders as always. Hanson, Jack, Saisai, and Luis gave their all on the pitch and supported the team well. Alan and Jonah were on fire on the attack, scoring the two goals that earned us the win. Good game!

U13 RONALDO

An amazing win for the U13 Ronaldo team, who played against the former leaders of the league table. It was not an easy feat, however, as the team suffered from a lack of players due to injuries. The team had 8 available players for a 7-a-side match, as key player Yogo stayed on the bench with an unlucky injury. Early into the match, our striker Jacob also suffered a tough tackle and had to be subbed off to rest his injury. The first half ended 0-0, with the players keeping up a great performance despite the lack of substitutes. It was Adam who gave Juve the crucial lead in the second half, getting a touch just strong enough for the ball to roll into the goal after the opponent defender failed to clear it. Jacob was able to recover later in the match and was subbed back on to give other players a rest. He was also the player to score the second goal in the last minutes of the match, in the form of a penalty kick. There was nothing the opponent’s goalkeeper could do as Jacob smashes the ball straight down the middle. Other than the goal-scorers, every single player was crucial in this win. The three defenders Johnny, Joshua, and Giacomo along with goalkeeper Keke made sure to keep a clean sheet, staying solid throughout the entire match. Toby was also very important in the attack, creating and giving many attacking chances and pressure for the opponents. With just one match left, the team has a real shot at being Champions. Let’s go Juve!!

DYBALA

The Dybala team played a friendly late on Saturday against their opponents. Unfortunately, the team was unable to find a goal and conceded three. The team fought hard- Thomas, David, and Kenny did great as defenders, with the latter two giving attacking pressure when they were played as wingers. Suhail in the attack also did well, making many dribbles toward the opponent's goal. Tom was in the right mid and did a good job, while Christopher was a great goalie.

U16

The U16 grabbed an important but tough 3-2 win against their opponents. The Juve boys made the game tougher for themselves, as the opponent was the weaker team on the pitch. The opponent was able to take the lead first, which was a huge blow to the U16. Alvaro was then fouled inside the box with a dangerous tackle and Juve got a penalty but not even a yellow card was given. Alvaro scores the penalty as expected, and the first half ends 1-1. The first half’s 4-4-2 formation was then changed to a 4-1-2-3 for more attacking focus, with Gui, Quintin, Roshan, and Kai as defenders, Francesco playing as the CDM, Mert and Chris as CAMs, and Kevin/Shaun, Alvaro, and Matthew as the attackers. Juve soon were able to find their second goal to gain the lead, when Shaun heads in Alvaro’s cross from the right flank. Then a red card was given to an opponent player, due to an ill-intentioned kick out of frustration on one of Juve’s players. Soon after the red card, the Bianconeri extend their lead to 3-1 with a goal from Chris. Though a questionable penalty was given to the opponent late in the match, Juve hold on to their lead and end the match 3-2. The team suffered from a lack of subs due to many absences, we hope that we will see more players committed in the coming weeks to end the season strong. Forza Juve!

SENIOR TEAM

The Juventus Senior Team played a match last Friday against Baiyangdian, a U17 high school team that plays at the highest youth level in Chinese football. Juve lost 0-5 but was able to learn a lot from the strong opponents. The score did not accurately reflect the team's great performance and the players believe in themselves to do even better for the rematch. Great job from the Senior Team boys, let's show them who we are, Forza Juve!
